Greedings from our Brothers in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
1 Our AHEPA District 3 Chapter 277 headquarters = St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Durham. The building includes the Church as well as additional offices and a small hall. We meet mostly in the conference room, located in the right wing of the building.
2. Inside the Church building, in the main corridor, AHEPA permanently maintains current information on a large bulletin board and a table. Currently we have scholarship applications on the table, and the board shows pictures of our officers and below photos of the latest visit of our District Governor.
3. Our chapter 277 members stood in two groups for the 2016 Church Directory. Several could not attend the photo session. Very Rev Archimandrite Father Stavroforos [shown in both photos] is also an AHEPA member and our chapter 277 Chaplain. Father Peter, shown in group 2, was a great friend of AHEPA and passed away just a couple of months ago, in 2017. [We believe he is advising the great AHEPA chapter in the sky – nearer to our Lord].
