Dear brothers and sisters
We would like to inform that our Chapter (HJ-18, Distirct 25), located in Nafpaktos has decided to hold the
Beach Volley Tournament – AHEPA CUP 2015 – Nafpaktos. Greece
The event event was announced officially on 1 December 2014 in Constantinople during the workshop of Region 10. At the workshop our Supreme President, brother Philip T. Frangos was present alοng with brother Nikos Karacostas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees as well as other AHEPA brothers from the USA, Greece and the rest of Europe.
The AHEPA CUP 2015 will take place in Nafpaktos, on 24-26 July 2015. Our announcement was unanimously accepted with enthusiasm. Each team will consist of one boy and one girl (mixed). “AHEPA CUP 2015” will be, for all the years it continues, a unique athletic opportunity of cooperation between AHEPA, Sons of Pericles, Daughters of Penelope and Maids of Athena.
For the success of the tournament, we kindly request you to inform officially the Supreme and Grand Lodges of these members of the AHEPA family. We would like to have their support for the tournament.
Actually, we look for their help to help us form competing teams for the event. We would like to have them come to Nafpaktos to participate in the tournament. While the athletes will pay their transportation expenses, our Chapter will provide housing and half-board food for those from U.S. while in Nafpaktos. Our wish is to have five teams participate in the tournament from the States (10 athletes: 5 boys + 5 girls). Please note that the participants may be AHEPANs or non-AHEPANs.
